For each lighting, allow the candle to burn long enough for the entire surface to fully liquefy: usually 2 to 3 hours. A complete melt pool preserves the candle’s integrity and ensuresan even, harmonious burn throughout its life.
Avoid extending a single burn beyond 4 hours.
Before each use, trim the wick to approximately 0.5 cm to maintain a calm and steady flame.
Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from fabrics, drapery, or any flammable material. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Extinguish the candle when the wax reaches about 0.5cm from the base or when the wick sustainer becomes visible. This is when your narrative perfume candle’s first chapter comes to a close and its second begins: the glass may be refilled with our candle wax refill, or repurposed as a bud vase, a brush or pencil holder, a tea light vessel, or any object you choose to give new life.
Do not place a warm candle on a cold surface, as the temperature difference may shatter your candle vessel.
To care for the vessel, gently clean the exterior with a soft, lightly damp cloth when necessary. Avoid abrasive tools or anything that could mar its surface. Do not machine wash.
