Mustafa Moneir, the maison's founder, creative director and perfumer is drawn to stories because they echo his reductionist design principle: they take what is complex and reduce it to its most essential form, removing the unnecessary. This principle touches every aspect of Créateur Olfactif, from formula to packaging. In the perfume, it appears through precise compositions stripped of excess. In the object, it is reflected in packaging designed with purpose, focusing on beauty with a function and longevity rather than unnecessary embellishment.

Mustafa Moneir is drawn to stories for their ability to distill complex matter into its most fundamental essence,
an approach that mirrors his philosophy in both, perfume formulation and object design.
Born in Cairo, Mustafa grew up between Berlin, Copenhagen, Sydney, and Vienna. After pursuing a career
as a nose, he moved to Geneva, the Silicone Valley of fragrance, the cradle of timekeeping and the birthplace
of his maison de parfum, Créateur Olfactif.
Through his narrative perfume objects and formulas, he invites you to step out from reality and the every day for a moment, and to reconnect with your inner child in the fantastical world of Créateur Olfactif Genève.
