On the 1st of May, 1951,
the Grand Theatre de Genève - Geneva's opera house and the largest stage in Switzerland - burned down under mysterious circumstances, while a rehearsal of the Third Act of The Valkyrie by Richard Wagner was commencing.
The Opera is Burning captures the olfactory memory of the first moments of smoke in the opera building, resulting from the fire ravishing its precious woods, the musical instruments and the make up rooms.
A smoky accord
contrasted with a burned lipstick note tells the story of the fire that ravaged Geneva's opera house on the 1st of May, 1951.

Les Femmes du Khédive serves as a time capsule inside an old cigarette factory in Geneva, Switzerland.
Soon after it opened, Le Khedive - named after the sovereign of Egypt, where the factory had its first branch - became one of Europe's most important manufacturers of luxury cigarettes and a purveyor to its royal courts. In a company run by men, it was mostly the women doing the hard work - including hand-rolling the cigarettes. This fragrance is an ode to them.
Les Femmes du Khédive is a play on words. While literally translated it can mean: The women of le Khedive factory, it can also be understood as "The Wives of the Khedive", in reference to the harem of the 19th century Egyptian sovereign.

Honeyed Sea Kale Flowers
Salty Breeze of the North Sea
A fresh, salty north sea note juxtapositioned by a complex, yet, delicate floral honey accord, creating a contrast for the senses. An olfactory tribute to the struggle between adulthood and the inner child.
Inspired by a beach in Copenhagen, next to Créateur Olfactif’s childhood home, Première Mer describes his encounter with an old man on a mission to look at the world through the eyes of his younger self;
with curiosity and excitement.
Première Mer is a juxtaposition between the salty marine notes from Copenhagen’s North Sea coast, and the buttery honey note of the crambe maritima flower, a shrub native to the beaches of Scandinavia.
